Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use backtester.run. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement and agree to these terms.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@backtester.run if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree not to:

• — abuse or circumvent the AI generation quota system
• — scrape or bulk-download platform data via automated means
• — resell or redistribute backtest results as a licensed financial advisory service
• — use the platform in any way that violates applicable law

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe and auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

The strategies you create and the backtest results you generate belong to you. By using the platform you grant backtester.run a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store that content solely to deliver the service.

The backtester.run platform, DSL engine, and all associated software are the intellectual property of backtester.run / Lapunga. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership of platform IP to you.

We aim for high availability but do not provide an uptime SLA at this time. The service is provided on a best-effort basis and may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to circumstances outside our control.

The service is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. backtester.run is not liable for any trading losses, financial decisions, or other damages arising from your use of backtest results. See also our Risk Disclosure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the billing settings page. On termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
